01/10 - President’s Award of Excellence. Dr. H. J. Harrington received the President’s Award of Excellence on behalf of the Asia Pacific Quality Organization in commendation for his exemplary leadership.
05/09 - Professional of the Year 2009. Dr. H. J. Harrington received the Professional of the Year (2009) Award at the Quality Conference in Orlando, Florida. He received this award for his sustained, long-term outstanding contributions to improving organizational performance around the world.
04/09 - Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University Medal. Dr. H. James Harrington, the CEO of Harrington Middle East located in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, received the first Hamdan Bin Mohammed e- University Medal for his leadership as chairman of the e-TQM College and his efforts to support quality education through the Middle East.

05/09 - Harrington Best TQM Thesis Award. The winner of the Harrington Best Thesis Award was conferred on Mr. Saeed Salem Al Hanki, Director of Police Research Centre, Ministry of Interior – Abu Dhabi.
05/08 - Harrington Excellence Medal. Lieutenant Colonel Richard Faucher was awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the 2008 Harrington Excellence Medal in a ceremony conducted at the Marines Memorial Library in San Francisco, California. The Harrington Excellence Medal is presented to recognize an individual who has excelled in the use and/or the development of performance improvement tools and methodology. Lt. Colonel Faucher was recommended to receive the annual Harrington Excellence Medal for his work in Iraq using Lean approaches to improve living conditions.
2006 - Harrington Best TQM Thesis Award. A number of the European partners from The European Universities Network and the e-TQM College established the Harrington Best TQM Thesis Award to encourage pioneering and original research work in the field of TQM. The award is meant as a special tribute to Dr. H. James Harrington and “in recognition of his unique and immense contribution to spreading the teachings of TQM throughout the World and through assisting thousands of organizations improve and reap out its benefits.” This award is given out annually at the Middle East Quality Association (MEQA) conference in Dubai.
